The Vision

The River I See is a church that only God could build. A church where God gets to do what He wants to do. The River I See is a church where people are constantly being saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, delivered from hurts and habits, healed and renewed with joy. The River I See is constantly growing deeper and wider – so rapidly that it cannot be explained any other way than "a powerful move of God." The River I See experiences explosive growth that ignores cultural, economic and generational boundaries. In spite of the size, the love of God and spirit of unity fosters an environment where all can experience meaningful relationships. The River I See has services that look and sound like a massive choir passionately expressing their love and worship to God to bring Him pleasure. Every service is charged with the very presence of Jesus. As the uncompromised Word is taught, revelation of truth floods the congregation bringing wisdom, understanding, answers to problems and innovative ideas. The River I See is full of people who are full of the Holy Spirit and move in His power in their everyday lives with humility, love and submission to authority. It seems as if everyone is a minister - pursuing discipleship and doing their own part with a servant heart. Reaching, equipping and releasing the next generation is our priority. The River I See takes the gospel of Jesus Christ into their surrounding communities and around the world through a variety of practical means. The River I See has supernatural influence with governments and leaders. The River I See has no lack because it is a giving church full of good stewards that God can trust to share His abundant resources with others. The River I See is a people of prayer - fervent believing prayer - prayer that gets results that money cannot buy. The River I See is a church that inspires other ministries and believers to take God at His Word and allow God to be God. The River I See is full of spiritually mature people who ignore criticism and arguments, being wise to Satan's tactics of breeding disunity to stop the anointing. The River I See is made up of regular, down-to-earth people who have such a desire for a move of God that they are willing to do any job, pay any price and even forfeit personal ambitions to help God accomplish His plan on the earth. The River I See cannot be stopped because God is the driving force. It is so beyond human ability, ingenuity or planning that God gets all of the glory.

This is The River God Sees. I can only see it in my heart now, but I will follow God and obey His voice until everyone can see - The River I See.

We will have small groups for everyone. The emphasis will discipleship.

What is discipleship?

Jesus must be at the center. Disciple means “learner” or “follower.” A disciple gets his identity not by the learning or the following but by who they are learning from or following. Our identity is a transformed identity in Jesus Christ.
Discipleship must be relational. The disciple’s life needs to be grounded in relationships rather than in impersonal behaviors or simply performance goals.

REACHING A GENERATION BEFORE THEY NEED TO BE RESCUED

We know very little about Jesus between birth and thirty years of age, except for when He was twelve. At age twelve Jesus said "I must be about my Father's business". We believe that these seven words can be the passion and life style of this next generation, not as adults, not at 21 but at 12.
